Why we love it: On the more developed side of the roast spectrum this Custom Blend is full bodied and robust. This Blend is smooth, creamy, silky and sweet with notes of toffee and cocoa and hints of hazelnut, vanilla and tangerine. Great as an espresso or pour-over if you love a darker roast profile. Brew to your preference, it also pairs well with deep rich flavors like real maple and grass-fed heavy cream.
From the roaster: Pulling some of our more robust, deep flavor profiles from the Central American Regions, this Blend is a versatile cup of goodness waiting to happen! Flavors this bold are often highlighted by your favorite additions. You either end up with a get-r-done, deep black cup-a-joe or something more sweet and comforting. If it’s my cup, I like date syrup and cinnamon with a couple ounces of grass-fed heavy cream… My Sunday morning go-to!
The impact: Our importing partners installed a wet mill in this Region in order to provide a way to process these coffees and thus giving the producers a path to market.
